About the Author: Pete D. Louden

Pete grew up in a small town in Indiana. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Army Infantry and served for ten years. Assignments include the 101st Airborne Division at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky during Desert Storm; the 9th Infantry Division at Ft. Lewis, Washington; and Drill Sergeant at the Infantry Training Brigade at Ft. Benning, Georgia.

He completed his undergraduate degrees at Troy State University (now Troy) in 1995 while still on active military duty. After completing military service, he attended Oklahoma City University School of Law, where he graduated in 1998. Pete was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar that same year.

Pete is a divorce, child custody, and family law attorney in Norman, Oklahoma. The focus of his law practice is representing men and fathers in divorce, child custody, paternity, and child support matters. He understands the unique challenges faced by fathers and their children and has helped hundreds of people navigate the family law system. In addition, he has extensive experience in settlement negotiations, mediation, and complex high conflict divorce and custody trials.

Pete has been married to his wife Liz, a school teacher, for twenty-four years. They have four children and two grandchildren.
